Join the Also-Known-As 2016-2017 Mentorship Program!

We are currently accepting applications for our 2016-2017 mentorship program! Running concurrently with the school year, our separate Youth (ages 7-12) and Teen (ages 13-18) programs offer fun monthly outings nurturing positive self-perception, promoting cultural awareness and fostering important friendships that last a lifetime. Our mentors serve as role models, encouraging the exploration of identity and race. Please check out our Youth and Teen programs to learn more and to obtain the child, teen and mentor applications.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the Also-Known-As 20th Anniversary! We are thrilled you were able to join us!

Taking place April 22-24, 2016, this milestone celebration welcomed over 150 attendees from 19 states and 7 countries.

The entire weekend of events was a huge success, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of our generous community.


A few highlights from the weekend's events included:

- Daytime Concurrent Activities for Adults and Families including the Who Are You Also-Known-As? Showcase as well as trips to local museums.

- Dim Sum Brunch!
